For all you mathematical types (and the wannabes too)...
Want to see some primes? I give you

The Prime Shitting Bear.

Is a description really necessary? Just click the link. It is what it is.

2. What kind of question is that?
If it's a mathematical question, then the answer is "forever," as there are infinitely many primes.

If it's a biological question, then the answer is "several hours," as the bear did eat a lot at the Super Bowl party and may have ingested some metamucil this morning.

5. What kind of question is that?
If it's a mathematical question, then the prime density is the percentage of integers up to that point which are primes. So when the number 11 squeezes out, the prime count is 4 (meaning that there were four primes before that--2, 3, 5, and 7) and the prime density is 36.4% (four out of the eleven--although it should probably be five out of the eleven, since eleven is also prime). I'm surprised that the designer wasn't precise; you'd think someone who would go to the trouble of creating a prime-shitting bear would have enough pride to make sure the math was correct.

If it's a biological question, then the answer is "very dense," as the bear ate a LOT of cheese dip.

6. With an infinite number of integers and prime integers.....
how low will the prime density go?

Bears are omnivorous, I suspect that bear laid its paws on some fine hot links, too.

7. The prime density will get closer and closer to zero.
The Prime Number Theorem says that the number of primes less than or equal to x is approximately x/log x.

If that bear is anything like me, then I'm sure it loves hot links.

8. Hmmm, prime numbers
:9

You would be proud of me-- I have been plowing through Music of the Primes. I love prime numbers, and π, too! :D

10. The book by Marcus Du Sautoy?
I haven't read it. Is it interesting?

I like how the website above takes a sophisticated view of the prime numbers...and sets it it bear defecation. Maybe that could be the topic for a new Spinal Cap song. On second thought, maybe not.

11. Yes. It is interesting, but it is very deep for my very shallow mind, and I find it

necessary to read a little, and then ponder for periods. This weekend I think I'll take a few moments and come up with a formula to calculate prime numbers.
