Timeless music, and on you tube, whole recordings too. Just feeling nostalgic.

someone has put full recordings of albums on there, I guess they are a die hard Beatles fan, listening to Abbey Road now, unbelieveable escape.....sigh, even has the HELP album on there. It is under Videos, someone really went out there way to put this timeless music on you tube. Remember that song I Want You on Abbey Road, it was timeless back then and still is today.

I have Beatle records going back to the mid sixties. Also have some CD's for vehicle useage. Even have Sgt Peppers on Mono. All those snap crackle and pops adds to the music.

I've got a new generation to teach in this house. :) Our high school pep band's theme song was Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band--in 1990. Nobody beats the Beatles.

There are the Beatles and Beatles wannabees, like Oasis. They're worse than elevator music.

27. I do occasionally. But sometimes it just makes me feel ... too melancholy. |
|
I start thinking about John Lennon being shot and how depressing that was.
Also, I was such a huge Beatles freak when I was in 9th grade (coincidentally the year he was shot) I think I over-listened to some of their songs.

I thought most of their music was overrated and that they were being forced upon me. I just never cared for them.

37. At that time I was really into the Beach Boys, Ray Charles, |
|
Rolling Stones and many others. I think a lot of my dislike for the Beatles was because I felt they were being forced upon me. Unless you were there, you would have a hard time imagining the constant exposure to the Beatles. It was everywhere.

last night the What's left of the Grateful Dead covered "Come Together" at the Deadheads for Obama thing...
Most bands I like do Beatles covers. And they are outstanding versions too...
