Sometimes, snarkiness seems the appropriate response.
The beagle has been sneezing and coughing, so I just took her to the vet. You may recall that she had a bladder infection a few weeks ago. We finished the meds she had for that, and I have no way of knowing whether they worked, what with her unwillingness to learn to talk.

So, the vet checks her over and tells me she has a throat infection. Then he asks me "How's her bladder?".

Now, seriesly, would it have been wrong for me to reply, "How the hell would I know?!"?

I didn't. I just said "Well, she seems okay, and she got all the cipro." But I still say no one could have blamed me for aiming a little snark his way.
