So, whatcha eating tonight?
You know, while you watch the subject-that-must-not-be-mentioned-in-the-lounge. We're having stuffed mushrooms, pears, and a bit of blue cheese.

But I want to still be awake for the California subject-that-must-not-be-named. I'm not usually up until 11:00.

We're on after-dinner time here in the east. Time to get fat in front of the TV while we watch, you know, THAT.

10. Kind of.
It comes in this packet that you need to add water and soy sauce to...

Made by Williams; the same company that makes the delicious spicy chicken wing mix...

Oh yeah!!!!!!!!

We haven't been making it much lately, though, because of sodium concerns. We're old. We worry about stuff like that.

13. The cafeteria had some pretty good stuff tonight
I've been trying to improve my eating habits (more fruits & vegetables, fewer sweets, etc.), and tonight they had some options that were quite conducive to that, which made me happy. :) I had a white bean & herb salad, baby carrots, and sauteed snow peas with a piece of fresh bread and an apple - all of it delicious. :hi:

21. Broccoli, cauliflower, carrots, yellow potatoes and asparagus -
pan/stir fried in olive AND sesame oil with a TON TON TON of garlic. A touch of Bragg's aminos, a few twists of the sea salt/dried roasted garlic grinder, and a little shake of this:

YUM.

22. That sounds excellent!
I had Indonesian yellow split pea soup (flavored with garlic, turmeric, fresh ginger, onion and fennel seed), and a flatbread I made with marinated, sun-dried tomatoes, topped with artichokes, garlic and kalamata olives. It was grand! And I want more, but alas, am watching my weight.

The earth is flat! Like a pancake! But less edible!

And of course they are lying. Every American eats pure lard for dinner. By the gallon. According to the National Stereotypes Institution that I Just Made Up.

"Yep, no subtext there. Exactly what is happening. I'm sure of it. Why do you ask?"
