25g of fiber every day , 2 celery stalks have only 2 grams ! an apple 3 !

We must keep munching all day to get 25 , never mind that some recommend 30

3. Eat a bit of nuts with the skins on 'em, whole seeds, beans with skins on 'em and some whole grains
It's not too bad. I'm snacking on some Barbara's Shredded Oats and a serving (which is always smaller than what one would actually eat) has 5 grams of fiber for 2 oz. of the cereal.

5. Oat bran muffins. They'll fix you right up with fiber.

6. Do a few ounces of sauteed spinach or other greens for breakfast
Edited on Tue Feb-05-08 09:24 PM by Rabrrrrrr
1/2 a cup of cooked spinach has 7 grams. I often have about 1/2 - 1 cup of cooked spinach (or variously kale, collard greens, etc.) in the morning.

Or a salad and/or a cup of rice with (or for) breakfast, in the Japanese tradition.

If I don't do the spinach, I generally go for the bowl of rice for breakfast, with some furikake. Every now and again I'll put a couple friend eggs on the rice.
