Made it to 18 years with my first wife, so there's no guarantees - but, 13 with this one, and we refuse to age gracefully, together or apart. We are working on curmudgeonness, and are determined to achieve it.

May you make it, like my former wonderful in-laws, who enjoyed 60 years together and died within three days of one another - the second one to go not even aware the first one had died suddenly.

Not to be a downer, but it was actually a beautiful thing. Seven kids together.

I made it 5 years with the first one, ended amicably. Two wonderful, beautiful daughters -- very lucky. Hey I think everyone has their moments of being curmudgey, we seem to run in 6 month swings. But I am very glad we made it to 10 years. Sometimes life has a way of interfering or getting in the way, you have to appreciate and acknowledge each other every day.
