1. The apples were ON the sandwich? |
|
Dear gawd...that's brilliant! Never heard of that before, but I know what's for lunch tomorrow.

6. Seems odd at first glance, doesn't it? But makes sense if you think about it. |
|
I believe I'll try it too. Hey, what do you use in a sandwich that calls for ham? Is there decent soy-based "ham" these days?
If there is, I want to try it. Ham is one of the big roadblock items for me, whenever I think about the vegetarian option.

12. Yves deli slices makes a good fake ham. |
|
It's excellent and available in a good number of supermarkets (no need for a trip to a health food store). Usually in the produce section.
There's no replacement for the holiday ham type thing, though. Just the slices.

Really matcom, if you're old enough to ride a scooter you're old enough to not use the word "sammy." x(

8. You'd like to make a sammy with *her* using your ham, apples, and honey mustard.... |
|
I don't think it would be called a "Granny Smith" though. :P

7. At least it wasn't a "veggie sammy." With EVOO. |

Too bad I just ate dinner.
And I don't have apples. Or swiss cheese. Or ham. I do have sourdough bread and spicy honey mustard though.
