1. My nipples hurt just reading your post.
:scared:

It was another perfect day here in Santa Barbara. If anything, a little too warm. I was uncomfortable in long sleeves. :(

4. I came inside at about 6:00 p.m.
and I'm not going out again until Monday if I can avoid it. It's like rolling naked on dry ice out there.

5. Is your car in the garage?
Do you have a block heater?

Are you going out to start your car every few hours?

There is much I miss about Minnesota, but I do not miss all of the above.

10. car...not in garage...but not to worry.
It has always started unless I've been so dumb as to leave a light on,,,this is miserable....I keep hearing thumping noises and i'm not sure what it is but when it started I thought the water pipes were exploding....but I have not been flooded yet so that can't be it....I hope...been a very long time since I had to cope with frozen, exploding pipes....

anyway, it's probably OK but I think I will start it a couple times during the night...

19. You never really get used to the below zero thing
The good thing is that it usually is only a few days a year. You just stay inside, and when you here that a cold snap is coming, you go to the grocery/liquor stores and stock up, so you do not have to leave.

15. It was 85 degrees here today.
I could spare you about 20 degrees, but I won't switch! Actually, I could handle losing 30 degrees...that would get you almost up to zero, which would feel downright tropical to you at this point. ;)
