My CRF kitty got good news from the vet today!!!
Her values have declined, and although not in the normal range, a decline is good, meaning that the progression is being slowed. She was also quite a b**ch about being there, grrring when she got her temperature taken, and letting me know constantly on the way there that she didn't want to go. She's actually fairly meek, so I interpreted this as her energy level is getting better!

1. That's great! I have a kitty with the same diagnosis.
Her values were better last visit too. She's due to go back, so I have my fingers crossed.

:-)

2. Good luck!
Mine is a very recent diagnosis...it was tough, but then I started reading and even with the diagnosis, they can live a good life for even 2-3 years or more!

3. Things can improve. My crf kitty was in the normal range, most of the time
after his Dx. As long as he got fluids, he was fine, until the last month or so. Just keep doing what you're doing. You'll be surprised how well your kitty can do!!

4. Thanks!
She's starting to fight the fluids, which I also interpret as a good sign that she's feeling better!
