I even microwaved some socks, put them on my feet and then stuck my feet into my slippers.
My toes feel like icicles.

1. Red Pepper (Cayenne) and foot powder or Johnson's baby powder |
|
mix a little Cayenne in with the powder put it in your socks, your feet will warm up...
I don't know the ratio, but just be careful

2. Put On More Layers Of Clothing And A Hat. |
|
Edited on Mon Feb-11-08 08:31 PM by OPERATIONMINDCRIME
Your feet are cold because your body is sending its heat to your organs and main parts of your body, because your body as a whole is a bit chilly. It knows that your feet/hands are some of the most likely places for the heat to escape, so it avoids sending blood/warmth there so that it can keep the rest of your body warm.
If you put on more layers of clothes on the main parts of your body along with a hat, your body may go back to normal mode and allow more blood/heat to go back to your feet. :)

4. why just your feet? do you have raynauds? (is that even spelled right) |
|
i have to confess that i've never had to resort to microwaving my socks, my tricks are more along the lines of wearing the fluffy socks and putting up my feet near a roaring fire
of course whilst drinking a hot buttered rum!
but it sounds like you need stronger measures?

just cold feet.
I've got my bed turned on (elec blanket). Once it warms up, I'll go to bed and then I'll be ok.
