St. Louisans/Midwesterners: How's the ice storm in your area?
They called school for us at 2:00 and it was an in insane drive home here in the E St. Louis metro area. I'd warmed up my car pretty well before leaving, and I still had to stop on the highway shoulder--as did tons of others--to scrape again b/c the accumulation was just insane. Traffic was bad, too, what w/ lots of folks trying to beat it.

It's been pretty light for the last 2 hours, but still the occasional tree is popping in the distance.

Stay safe and warm

5. Thanks,
I'll try my best....:D January of 07 was a pain...we got hit big time, our Governor declared us in a state of emergency...we were without power for over 10 days, but we managed pretty well. About the only thing I missed during the outtage was running water...

What part of SW MO are your buds from? I'm in McDonald Co, we border Oklahoma/Arkansas.
