I don't like it and I don't use it. In German that name sounds very hard.

68. LOL! Your screen name is MissHoneychurch and your middle name is
Charlotte (I happen to love that name BTW)! Do you have a brother named Freddie? :)

We actually named our little green Civic Charlotte. I keep thinking of the movie lately because our Charlotte as been buried in snow and ice for the most of the winter. Every time we walk outside and look at her, we say "Poor Charlotte!" in our best English accents.

One of those weird people who hate forms with FIRST NAME - MIDDLE INITIAL - LAST NAME.

My first name is unique enough, or so I thought, that I've never had to use it. Until I married my husband and found that his brother's wife's first name is the same as mine. It's not all that common so it was kind of a weird coincidence.

56. Eh. It's okay I guess.
When my parents got married, they were both Elvis freaks. So when they found out my mom was pregnant, they got all excited and were thinking up names for a boy or a girl. Boy would be easy (they'd make him a Jr.); but for a girl, they were open to ideas. Well, Sonny and Cher were expecting a baby, and Elvis and Priscilla had just had their baby. My parents decided that I too, would be Lisa Marie - you know, because naming their baby after Elvis' baby would put them in "cool" category. :sarcasm:

Well, turns out that one day my dad was driving home from work when "Michelle My Belle" was cranking on the radio. It was a huge hit, and both my parents were huge Beatles fans. It was Valentine's Day 1969 - the day I was due to be born. My dad got home, ran it past my mom - who by this point didn't give two shits what I was named, she just wanted me OUT. My dad called my grandma, and she loved it, and they all came up with my middle name together. So my Beatles name was combined with "Lynne".

I like it okay, I guess.....I'm not complaining. They could have named me Chastity.

And I use it. It's the only name I've ever gone by. I was six before I found out it wasn't my first name. It's a Southern thing I guess--your first name is after someone else and your middle name is yours. It is a pain in the a$$ with work, doctors, insurance, credit cards, anything official. Not fun. It does help weed out telemarketers on the phone, though.

He was apparently named either Elhanan or Elkanan; so to make sure we had the old guy covered, my uncle named one of his sons Elkan.

I actually did use this as my last name when I published a book pseudonymously!

My nephew and his wife were going to use my name for one of their sons, but changed their minds when they remembered that you're only supposed to use dead relatives' names, and it would have implied that they wanted me dead.
