Y'know how people praise Jesus after a serious storm?
http://www.knbc.com/news/10113180/detail.html

BUFFALO, N.Y. -- Last week's snowstorm in western New York brought down trees and limbs across the area, but spared a statue of Jesus.

Only two limbs fell on the statue in Buffalo, N.Y., and they landed to form the shape of a cross on the religious icon's shoulder.

Only the statue's fingers were damaged.

1. I must confess
if I'd seen one of those branches like that, and another one laying around, I'd have set it up to look like that too. Just to screw with people...

5. A log would work.
That's a good one!

I remember Johnny Carson had a guy on once who had grown a potato that looked like Nixon. The thrill faded when Johnny pointed out that it's hard to grow a potato that doesn't look like Nixon.

How come Nixon never shows up on muffins, or logs, or anywhere?

4. He just can't get away from carrying that damn thing
What is it with worshipping a cross anyway? Why do people worship the thing he was nailed up on? That always seemed creepy to me. I mean, if he'd been run over by a drunk driver, would christians wear little Buicks on chains around their necks?
