Beading - anyone here do beading?
I'm taking my first class tomorrow night. Perhaps I'll unearth a hidden talent

1. Good Luck! I have some beads, and a mag and some supplies.
But I've been sewing so much that I haven't gotten to it yet.

8. I have done a little.
I bought a book and taught myself several things, made a couple of anklets. It was a lot of fun !

What kind of beading are you going to be learning?

9. Try asking in the crafts group.
I think there are a couple beaders there.

10. I did for a bit
I did appliqué style hippie stuff, i.e. yin/yang symbols, peace signs, etc. But as I got more proficient and do more projects, it really began to take a toll on my neck. Could be just me, of course, but watch out for that.

:hi:

11. You better watch out.
It's highly addictive. First you start with a couple of pretty ones. Before you know it, you've got a crafter's case full. Then the next step is making your own lampwork beads with a blow torch & kiln.
