Which is the best logo?

Ok, I'm not a graphic designer, but I work cheap. This is a logo for a corporate alumni group on Linked In, so it's a riff on their logo, but hopefully different enough that they won't come after me. Which one is the best?

It should be different enough from the original one in the thread on fonts to avoid trouble.

If you want to use it you can. And I would go with #three.
