Down here in the Mid-Atlantic we are on the tail end of an ice storm..lots of closures and delays. I'm not rushing in to work myself.

I thought maybe you folks got more rain
It's turned to rain here, but there were about 6 inches of snow... roads covered in slush. People drive too quickly in this stuff. I nearly got slid into a couple of times.

4. I should have stayed home, |

the drive wasn't that bad. I will admit I really do miss the old 10 minute drive I used to have since it took me an hour to get to work. But i did expect that.
What I didn't expect to see that there is almost as much water coming inside the office as there is outside. There's a huge trash can outside my office door that is collecting the rain that's coming in from the leaky roof, another outside one of my staff's cube amd a third outside the mailroom. Plus the carpet outside the 3 offices in my little corner is totally soaked and everytime I go out I end up bringing in more water.
What a freaking joke. Now they decided to get the shop-vac to suck up the water. I can't even close my door to get any quiet. I get a feeling I ain't going to get a damn thing done today.
