I hate the people I work for.

Stupid fucking assholes made us come to an expensive hotel for our staff meeting. They charge $15 for the breakfast buffet so, once again, I am skipping breakfast. I couldn't find a place for dinner yesterday that didn't cost an arm and lg too. There is no place else around to go and I do not have keys to a vehicle. Goddamn it this sucks. They just sat there in the meeting yesterday and said they wished they could pay us better! Lying sacks of shit. Apparently they can't understand how some of us can't afford $15 breakfast. I have per diem ($36 a day) but I won't get that for another month. In the meantime I am not made of money. I had to pay for internet access so I could check my email because there are things I am expecting and might have to answer.

They (the higher ups anyway) make way more than I do and it is no big deal to them to pay these prices.

Lunch yesterday was hilarious. It was provided by the hotel (which has a fancy-ass restaurant in it). A sliver of muffaletta sandwich, a small amount of cold vegetables and some soggy potato chips. I couldn't figure out why they were soggy until I realized they probably mad them there. They should have gone with the Lays. Dessert was good though, some kind of pretentious, arty lime thing that was mostly whipped cream.
