Poll question: Most likely Romney excuse. (humor)
Edited on Wed Feb-13-08 09:46 AM by Deep13
Which of the following excuses will Romney most likely cite as the cause of his gigantic loss in the Republican primaries?

1. other:
he actually blamed his loss on everyone who didn't vote for him...

imagine that - losing because not enough people voted for him...who would have thunk it?

4. true story: Jay Severin here on Boston Talk Radio
says that the voters dissing Romney means that he has been robbed of his voice.

Well, Jay, you had the chance to vote. You had your voice. It got DROWNED OUT because you are seriously OUTNUMBERED.

GET USED TO IT!!!

5. My friends in MA were horrified by the prospect of a Romney presidency.
One of my friends was a Republican since high school, but in 2006 hosted fund-raising events at his house for Democratic candidates. Bush has that effect on people. Anyway, he was really angry at Romney. He said, "Romney is anti-environment, anti-education and anti-labor." Add anti-civil rights and he is the perfect anti-Democrat.

My mother, on the other hand, thinks he is the greatest thing since sliced bread. I can't begin to explain why.

that's because Romney butters either side of the bread as needed on any given day..sometimes both sides at the same time

It was all downhill for Mittens after that story came out.

Seriously though, asking the current Republican base to vote for Romney is like asking Larry the Cable Guy to vote for Judge Smales from Caddyshack.

11. Forgot about that. That would have been a good choice.

12. Heh-I thought Romney was plenty insane
Edited on Wed Feb-13-08 02:24 PM by nam78_two
I was certain he would be the nominee a few months back. He had, imo the greatest amount of that sort of ingrained (for lack of a better word am stealing from Jon Stewart) "dickishness" that seems to really appeal to Republican voters...
I am really surprised he didn't make it .
