The paper is by a woman i worked for as a field assistant. So my partner and i came up with a bunch of methodology, and collected scads of data. In many cases, that's not enough to get you authorship -- so she's actually being really generous. And she did all the writing, so it worked out great for me! :D


Maybe a path of breadcrumbs would work... unless i happen to be perusing ornithology journals! ;)
