Who else is sick?
I've got a cold going into Valentine's Day. Highly unlikely that the red sore stuffed up nose is going away by tomorrow evening. Bummer. After being married for 14 years, we've had to postpone special days a lot, so I guess we will do it again. I can thank my preschool kids for this cold. Bless their hearts. :)

Hugs to anyone else suffering with illnesses on what is supposed to be a romantic day.

1. I have had the sinus junk for two weeks.
I don't think my hubby wants my kisses tomorrow. Snort. Besides, who of us with children has strength on a Thursday night? LOL!! I hope you feel better soon.

4. Thanks. Hope you feel better soon!
I have 17 preschool kids and the majority of them have snotty noses, lots of sneezes and coughs that of course aim right at the teacher! I blame them even though my son was sick last week. Pretty mean of me, huh?

5. getting over sore throat and lung thing
Edited on Wed Feb-13-08 10:16 PM by JoeIsOneOfUs
Thought maybe I was headed for whooping cough but got much better today. Yesterday I tried to eat the salad at a work meeting and the fancy lettuce tickled my sore throat and I had a serious coughing fit. I ran to the bathroom. I was coughing so hard I couldn't breathe and was afraid I would black out. I was thinking, great, I'm going to hit my head on the floor or the sink because of a piece of lettuce.

Now that I think about it, that would have been way too much like dubya and the pretzel.

Able to eat some non-mushy food today without incident, and talk a little more. Took my dogs for their first real walks in a while. Hoping I can sleep for several hours straight without waking myself up coughing.

But I guess I can use it for an excuse where otherwise I'd just be a loser for being alone on Hallmark Candy Money Day.

6. Smoking cessation drug is making me very nauseous all the time.
I'm up to 2 a day now and I've lost a few pounds because my appetite is shit.
