How do I delete a personal avatar to replace with another

I'm trying to replace a personal avatar (pic of Bernie Sanders with a better pic of him).

You only get one image. Is there a way to delete my otehr image to replace it?

1. Just follow the directions to upload the new one.

Should overwrite the old one.

3. Are they both .gif files, or both .jpg files?

If so that can sometimes gum up the works. If so, you might try changing the new file to the other format in order to upload.

It tells me I've exceeded the limit. Is there a way to delete my existing personal avatar file so I can replace it?

7. it should let you replace the one you have with this new one

if not, just pick a stock AV, then upload the one I made and you'll be done
