I tell ya, people are really weird. I mean, I don't know if the dude was talking to me beyond a reasonable doubt, but I know he damn well said it, or something with fag in it. What the hell is wrong with people? Do they not have anything better to do than call someone a fag randomly?
I'm a fag, cool, whatever, I'm not a flamer or anything, but I guess you could probably tell if you met me. But here I am just waiting to cross the street downtown, and "Sup fag."
I think it was not meant to be friendly, most people don't address anonymous people as fag if they're being nice.
Oh well, I guess some people never grow up.

|
Edited on Wed Feb-13-08 11:59 PM by DarkTirade
Whereas the bones in the head, especially a bonehead like that, one solid chunk of bone. Punching the head is going to hurt you a lot more than the other guy.
Heel of the hand has some padding, and is not at such an angle as to string along a whole chain of little bones when it impacts. Knuckles don't have padding, and are strung along like that. Maybe people who have done serious boxing/martial arts/ect. for long enough to build up bone density and the right technique can pull that off without injury, but I wouldn't recommend it for anyone else. Especially somebody with as much packing behind that punch as flvegan. His musclyness might help him hurt the other guy more, but it'll also help hurt his own hand more too.
Besides, it's a bit more demeaning to get knocked out by a slap than by a punch anyway. :)

The solar plexus is good, but recovery can be quick.
Hitting the throat has another advantage: panic. The victim shifts every bit of concern to them.
One can also attack the area over and over with a number of forms of attack.
Don't just knock it out of them, force it out of them and KEEP it out of them.

i'm aware of a code phrase "sup <a non-derogatory noun>" that some guys are using to identify each other as members of their special interest group, but "sup fag?" that's a new one on me and i'm going to admit that it sounds both stupid and bigoted
if that means i'm missing out on some secret code i'm supposed to know, well, so be it, who wants to be one of the cool kids anyway if it involves going around doing the secret stoopit handshake in public places and making an idiot of yourself!

6. Sup, is like what's up, it's the "s" from what's and the up put together. |
|
Usually it would be used like, "sup homie," which is friendly. It can also be used to in a derogatory way, like "sup bitch," which is mean to instigate a conflict. I presume it was being used as a derogatory phrase, that appeared to be the tone of it.

Some people just don't know how to interact with society. Today I got call Chief by a staff member at the V.A. med center. I happens almost every time I go there, always a different person. Oddly it is always a male. It is a ethnic tag, but not necessarily a slight. If a group of rednecks in some hole started calling me chief I would take offense, but I think it is an acknowledgment of me being an Indian (feather not dot).

although I usually respond with "sorry, you're not my type" and/or just stare them down. Most bullies are cowards, and I doubt he'd respond or know how to.
Then again, I am a little above average in size, know how to fight, and most people don't mess with me much any more. All that said, I f'ing hate fighting and think it's about the dumbest thing you can do, outside of defending yourself, so I don't think violence is the answer here either, despite the fact that it would shame the guy. The problem is, however, that it might shame him so much that he'd come looking for you with friends or a weapon - stupid shit always escalates.
God, I am getting old. My 20 year old self would totally want to kick my ass right now. lol.
