This is the first movie I've looked forward to seeing since in about three years (or whenever Sin City came out). I am PSYCHED!

12. It looks about as good as Last Crusade
which is excellent. I love Last Crusade, but the best is clearly Raiders. It is a nearly perfect film, IMO.

24. If they have a midnight showing
I am so there!

Why not-I did the midnight shows with Star Wars and I prefer Indy over them. (But I've never said that in front of my brother. He would consider that blasphemy.)

25. I like Indy more too
The Star Wars trilogy is probably more consistent than the Indy trilogy, but Raiders is the best out of any of those six.

it's one thing to be tough, but he'd be crying like a baby after that in real life.

22. Yeah, I know I've got a stick up my ass about this
but it's the same with the Spiderman3 movie. Spidey and the kid with dad's rocket sled were doing things to each other that would snap people in half. It was just dumb. That's what made the first Die Hard good, McClain actually got hurt and it slowed him down.

28. Ronin, too --
while the skating-rink ending seemed just really *off* to me, several of the scenes where they're fighting in the arena in Nice, falling all over the place - just looked like it hurt, they were winded, etc. Middle aged guys getting punched in the guts. Looked like it actually took some effort to throw the punches, too. It definitely looked more real than all the over-choreographed stuff in recent movies.

29. Well, in the case of Spiderman
he's a bit tougher than your average human due to the whole mutation thing. And I haven't seen three, but I'd assume that Harry used the serum that made his dad into the Green Goblin, which would also have made him tougher than an average human.

If I recall correctly, in the Spiderman comics they've mentioned more than once that he has to pull his punches when dealing with most people to avoid killing them. Any punch that hard from someone who hasn't spent years training themselves how to do it right would break every bone in your hand. Same with the whole lifting 20 times his body weight, or however strong he's supposed to be. Obviously his whole structure has gotten tougher than an average human.

Although you're right... that is one of the (many) things that made Die Hard as awesome as it was. It wasn't your typical fake Hollywood violence... there were consequences for his actions. I still grimace during the whole bare feet + glass scene when I watch that movie.

21. I have high hopes for this!
For one it looks much more 'organic' then the last offerings by these directors. In the behind the scenes footage it's not all blue screen and actors. They use actual scenery and props in this one.

Also Speilberg is at the helm whom, despite his own shortcomings, is not an ass kissing yes man to Lucas like Rick McCallum was in the Star Wars prequels.

This one may indeed revive the sweet nostalgia of fan boy youth that so many other recent films failed to do.

Huffington Post was linked to a really poor quality version of that. I appreciated the high quality of the trailer you provided.
