West Virginia contemplating ROLLED TOADS

To finally retire the long-since-past-the-time-it-was-supposed-to-be-free http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/West_Virginia_Turnpike">toll road.

Dubbed the "http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/West_Virginia_Turnpike#.22Turnpike_that_goes_to_nowhere..22">turnpike that goes to nowhere" by its seriously misinformed and out-of-the-loop-on-Cold-War-intelligence-facilities critics, the West Virginia Turnpike has been the never-ending source of revenue for batch after batch after batch after batch of "revenue bonds" - bonds that allow the state to command a lower interest rate, because the risk of default is mitigated by the continuous and continuing income stream.

Apropos of nothing, its course runs through http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Beckley%2C_West_Virginia">Beckley, named after the first Librarian of Congress, Jefferson's campaign manager, and Clerk of the House of Representatives, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Beckley%2C_West_Virginia">John James Beckley. Beckley is the county seat of my home county.

Some stats suggest that if West Virginia were its own country, http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=west+virginia+marijuana">it would be the 4th largest grower of marijuana.

So screw M-I-S-S-I-S-S-I-P-P-I and its discovery of toll roads. We Mountaineers are moving on to rolled toads to balance our budget.
