You know those little plastic bags of buttons and string
and rhinestones etc. you sometimes get when you buy new clothes ??
Do you keep them? throw them away?

my dresser top is filled with them. I probably don't have half the clothes anymore to match the bags...

just curious

2. I started throwing them away
I've never sewn on a missing bead, rhinestone or button in my life so I decided to throw away the collection. I kept some for so long I couldn't determine what garment it came with.

3. If you know someone who does crafts
a scrapbooker, or card maker or really any kinds of crafts, ask them if they would have a use for them !

Maybe you could go over to the crafts discussion group and see what they could be used for. I'll bet somebody would be glad to get them.

9. I keep them, too.
I store them in a large tin. I have a lot of embellished sweaters, so I actually dig through them every now and then.

10. I have an old shoe box for them
Never thought I'd ever use it but lo and behold I snagged a 15 yr old sweater, had the string, and socko - good as new (except for the smallest little dimple where I sewed it)
