Yeah the show doesn't exactly lack in attractive people. Naveen Andrews' longtime girlfriend is Barbara Hershey. She's got him by around 20 years. Good for her. :)

Hey I'm not even gay and Sawyer even makes me feel a tad weak when he says: "Hey Freckles." lol :)

Oh I love Marsha Thomason(Naomi). Ever since she was on Las Vegas. That woman is flat out sexy.

Edited on Thu Feb-14-08 10:33 PM by deucemagnet
...another would be that the ship got a false signal from the beacon along the same trajectory, but then wouldn't the payload have fallen short of the mark? I dunno.

On edit: Maybe that's 30 minutes into the past. I'm confused.

112. I don't know that that is a correct interpretation.
It is a ratio and not a set number of minutes. That whole countdown to the thing landing took, what, about 30 seconds from the boat, right? And the clocks show it took 31 minutes. So things go 60 times faster off the island. Maybe my math is wrong, but I don't think it is just a "time zone" kind of thing.

One of the reasons I love lost is similar to why I love Battlestar Galactica, the characters are so complex. There is no solid black and white and both the characters you love and the characters you love to hate shuffle back and forth in all sorts of shades of gray.

A blow up of the bracelet looks like the G could be a C and Juliet's sister's initials are RC.

And if it is RG = Republican Guard. Might explain Sayid's gentle reaction to the death of both.

At the end, what was with caged dogs? Is Ben a vet?

Also, can we assume Sayid and Ben were in Berlin? I can't imagine Sayid traveling too far with a gun shot wound.

Oh, and I'm VERY curious as to why Locke couldn't find Jacob's cabin. :scared: That doesn't seem like a good sign.

65. you know, I didn't pay attention to that
It would be interesting if he did. Maybe Hurley is the real "special" person out of the whole group. He does have a weird relationship with the island, and he is one of the six.

If he did, and didn't say anything, that would be trippy. That he even saw it that one time definitely makes him a threat to Ben in a way, but nobody knows it yet. The more I think of it, I bet he did see it. He's so laid back, he wouldn't ever say it.

This show is amazing. I'm like obsessed with it, I literally woke up at 6:30 to watch the extra features on the season 3 dvd. That's what I'm doing now, haha.

I guess that is to be expected. The normal way a show like this would go would be to keep the love triangle intact (Jack, Kate , and Sawyer) off the island...we'll see.

Now the question is -Who's funeral was that? and when Kate said "I have to get back HE will be wondering where I am" who was she talking about?

79. What if it was Ben?
That she was involved in whatever thing Ben and Sayid have going on and HE wasn't said in the sense of a couple, but more as in HE as an almost cult-like leader.

95. oh yeah
these writers like to mindfuck, haha. I just think it would be so wild for Kate to be involved in some crazy conspiracy with Ben as the leader. But if you look, both her and Sayid have dubious backgrounds in their off-island lives. It almost makes sense that a guy like Ben could prey on those weaknesses and get them to work for him.

118. I have a theory on who HE is - possible spoiler??? if I end up being right that is`
Ok. So, in Hurleys FF episode, when he saw Jack he apologized to him for going with Locke.
I got the feeling that something bad had happened.
When we saw Jack's FF and he sees Kate, she is clearly not on the lamb from the law.
During Sawyer's FF Ben says "Remember what happened the last time you thought with your heart and not with your gun?"

I think it is going to turn in to an all out war with the rescuers because of Locke.
I think Claire will end up getting killed. Hurley would feel responsible for that since he
went with Locke and said it was what Charlie wanted- which led to Claire going with Locke too.
Kate will end up taking Aaron & will return to the states having assumed Claire's identity.

So, Aaron is the HE and Claire is dead.

Something must happen where Sayid makes a bad choice and thinks with his heart & not his gun? Which results is chaos.

Just a theory.

114. Isn't that too easy??
I mean the writers are working hard to make this whole show a mind fuck and have people think very deeply about it. they are keeping the Oceanic 6 a secret. Isn't is kind of anti-climactic if the 6 are just the main characters? And if all the main characters are off the island, why do we give a shit if they go back. Doesn't there need to be someone on the island that draws us back in. My initial thought is that the "he" is Kate's kid with Sawyer. Sawyer stays on the island like he said he would. That makes the triangle all the more powerful.

Of course, I'm probably wrong and it's the 6 main characters.

58. 31 Minutes + Sayeed's "friends"
the difference in the timers on the payload and the timer that Dan Farraday had was 31 minutes that COULD BE Longitude or Latittude. So the island can move? or can it appear not to be where it is????

The bracelets on Noami and the Economist's assistant were the same

Ben seems to be manipulating Sayeed to protect Sayeed's "friends" is that the other Oceana 6 or the ones still on the island?

Mr.Everly is no longer on the list.

Edited on Fri Feb-15-08 10:42 AM by redqueen
Different dimension? Some kind of limbo between life & death perhaps? Or this life & the next?

There was an Oceanic 815 found under the sea near Bali, as shown last week... but didn't Kate & Jack meet the pilot in the cockpit on the island?

And Abbadon, the guardian of the abyss? Trying to find the people who should have died, but haven't?

72. Okay this goes into my side theory
This is born of 9/11 conspiracy not that I agree with them but it is on the Operation Northwoods (look it up) mode

The plane crash was used for political means THAT is why there was a plane planted and found. Sayeed would be the perfect patsie here- Iraqi.... - and Kate as the accomplice.

Just something to keep in mind.

109. yes...there is a time factor it seems...
I believe the person on the ship detected that the payload reached the target, didn't she?
So that would rule out that the island is moving. There is some kind of temporal effect here.
But why wasn't the radio signal delayed?
I'm also thinking perhaps there are alternate realities involved here.

How he hasn't gotten an Emmy should be investigated. He IS Ben at this point-I hope they are paying him well because for the rest of his career he will be Ben (but then he clearly is a fantastic actor so...)

He won in 2001 for Outstanding Guest Actor in a Drama Series for his role as serial killer William Hinks in a six-episode story arc of The Practice. He was excellent in that role, and as Ben--he's definitely got that creepy, menacing thing down, that's for sure!

Wow! I honestly don't remember how long Twin Peaks lasted. I gave up on it after a season (about the time I realized that Lynch simply wasn't my cup of tea...).

Regardless of how long its run was, I think my pal was referring to the sense of payoff we as Lost fans get every episode. Sure, we're in the dark for the most part, but it seems that every episode has at least one or two answers (in addition to twice that amount of new questions).

Now, off to the Lost Boards for me!!!

Although he can't really be "good", since he obviously thinks the ends (whatever they are) justify the means. I guess it depends on what is at stake. Perhaps he thinks that whatever Dharma is trying to accomplish (time travel?) is so dangerous that it literally threatens all of humanity.

So....she was hiding her true understanding of their real relationship, too, right. That is, her phone call makes it clear she has known who Sayid was from outset, esp. after he tells her he was one of Oceanic 6. We know why Sayid was string her along; but to what end was she stringing him along? Why not have her team shoot/capture him and them ask the questions they seem to want to ask of him there at the end. Or was this a case of the twists getting in the way of the writing?
