It was started to certify diamonds are not blood diamonds. It isn't totally foolproof, but, if you or a loved one wants to buy diamonds, you can ask for Kimberly Process certification.

It has been a year or so since I saw the dvd, so you may want to watch that documentary so you would know for sure. It was very interesting.

To try to insure they are not blood diamonds. It is a certification process for the diamond.

Did you watch the film on DVD, or TV? There is a pretty long feature about it on the DVD. Since I haven't watched it in a while, I can't remember a lot of it.
