What's your favorite BEER?
Leinenkugel's Sunset Wheat for me.

But I would KILL for an authentic German Heffeweissen.

91. Very sweet but with a strong hoppy aftertaste
Its 24% so it has a hot alcohol taste but there is a lot of sweetness to overcome it. It would be similar to a sherry. Something you sip and not quaff. The hop profile is the same as the 60 and 90 so if you don't like that you might not like the 120 either.

57. Surly Furious

Like Hops? You'll like this fire-hued beer. This is the beer I have always dreamed of making. This is the beer that would come to mind while spending the last two years tearing down walls, hanging sheetrock, moving kegs, power washing the ceilings, arguing with various agencies, and cutting the water main.

Without Golden Promise malt, made by family-owned Simpsons Malt, Furious would just be pissed off-ed. From Scotland, this malt is still produced in the tradition of turning over the barley by hand, resulting in a malt that is unsurpassed in its quality. Golden Promise is also used extensively by premium whisky distilleries such as The Macallan. This malt provides the backbone for the intense hop character. Four American hop varieties are used at a rate of over three pounds per barrel. The result is a rich malt sweetness infused with bright hop flavor and aroma from beginning to end. Oh yeah, it's about 6% alcohol and around 100 IBUs.

71. Boulevard's Pale Ale is a nice one - that was my first
experience with one of their products, and I'll probably try more of their stuff in the future...

Frigging Iowa...they have some restrictive alcohol laws that require 6%+ ABV content beers as barley wine, boosting the price and discouraging distributorship, so we miss out on lots of good beers as a result.

82. Thanks.
Y'know not using anymore hasn't been near as difficult as coming to terms with the underlying issues that got me to using in the first place.

I'm still a work in progress. God hasn't finished with me yet.

79. My favorite beer that you could find near you? Sierra Nevada Pale Ale.
My favorite beer of all time is a Brit beer called Theakston's XP. A friend of mine introduced it to me last Thanksgiving.

96. Great Lakes Brewery Burning River Ale, Hoegaarden white, Samuel
Smith Oatmeal Stout Ayinger Celebrator Doppelbock, Bells Two Hearted Ale. Great Lakes Brewery Holy Moses White Ale. Kentucky Ale Bourbon Bottle Ale, Great Lakes Dortmunder Gold.

Mackeson XXX Stout. Like it much better than Guinness. It's more complex. It's what is called a milk stout.

A fine resource for those who drink beer for the flavor.

http://www.ratebeer.com/ Look up some of the beers in this thread.

http://www.ratebeer.com/beer/great-lakes-burning-river-pale-ale/1224/ My default beer.

http://www.ratebeer.com/beer/hoegaarden/399/ This is my wife's favorite.

http://www.ratebeer.com/beer/two-hearted-ale/1502/ This has a grapefruit taste. If you are a super hops fan, this is where you should be. Very drinkable.
