Anybody watch "Life After People" on the History channel? |
|
Interesting - it was all about what would happen to the Earth if every human just disappeared.
Ya know what the only things that would still be around tens of thousands of years from now? Mount Rushmore, the Great Wall of China and Hoover Dam.
All buildings and bridges would collapse in a couple hundred years. It was interesting.
Surprisingly, Hoover dam would still provide power for quite awhile. It really doesn't need a lot of human intervention.

My husband and I watched it and thought it was pretty good. A few things bothered me because I kept wondering what happened to the people and where were the bodies. It was if the Rapture took place or something. I have trouble with stuff like that I can't enjoy something because I kept thinking about that.

I just don't do well with so many things like that. I hardly ever go to movies or watch cartoons or anything where I just cant believe it. On the other hand I love Musicals, like cats, hair, tommy, rent, & I know people & cats are not running around singing in the street together in harmony. Who knows, I guess I'm just strange, lol!

3. Amazing program. The things they can do with CGI (?) create a new |

dimension where science collaborates with imagination. I was pleased that cats would fare well. "The Universe" is another great program. :hi:
