Is there...
a general and unified approach for solving Linear time variant systems in the same manner LTI's are solved.

Or are such systems closer to nonlinear problems difficulty?

My head hurts , A problem I am dealing with produces such a (with time varying coefficients) differential equation , and the variation is NOT periodic .

need some hints.

5. Nope. There really isn't.
They both work well within their constraints,
but we're all waiting for the "Unified Field Theory"
that will make the numbers mesh where they bump into
each other at the edges.

Until the day that comes along, the only thing that
makes the pain in my head go away is to tell myself
that it's TURTLES all the way ∞down∞...

7. I know of one method,
but I'm too tired to explain it. But it's really very simple.
