got a question about divorce and e-mail. |

If a couple is divorcing and one spouse sends an e-mail to another person but there's been no physical contact how is that played out in the divorce and custody battles? A friend has been e-mailing someone with plans to meet after the divorce is final. So what should I tell them?

1. That totally depends on the state you're in... |
|
In Texas, it has pretty much no bearing on anything, unless financial fraud or asset hiding is involved.
It's best to check with a board certified family law attorney in your state.

No asset hiding or financial fraud. Just a pledge to meet. The friend is worried about custody.

8. I've read some of them |

There are articles for adultery defined as sexual intercourse outside of marriage and unreasonable behavior which applies to behavior that a person can't be expected to live with. Such as physical or emotional abuse.
