Oh no, Utah Phillips is dying?

I'm watching his Stawberry Music Festival performance, and just noticed this comment:

As of February 3, Utah is in San Francisco undergoing evaluation for a heart transplant. His health is deteriorating. In addition to the stress of his illness, Phillips has financial concerns too. He's been deprived of his livelihood just as his expenses have skyrocketed. Send him a card and/or a check at:

5. Yes, he is needing

a heart transplant. I heard a recent update on it last weekend. This reminds me that I need to send a check. Some folks who know him and also produce concerts in CA are encouraging folks to send a little every month as if they are buying a ticket to see him in concert each month.

One of the great ones. I kind of knew him. He is a very visible member of the Nevada City Community, the radio station (kvmr.org)and is everywhere in that part of the world. One of the things I loved about living up there.
