The adorable redhead who is simultaneously shaking Barak Obama's hand while taking his picture with her camera phone (kid's got some awesome multi-tasking skills). This was Saturday night at the DPW Founder's Day Gala. An AP photographer took three photos of her, as she had managed to wiggle her way to the front of the stage.

2. She's not washing that hand again - EVER

It was a great experience for her. She got to see Hillary and Barak in the same evening. Plus the governor and her two senators. She got to meet the State Democratic Party Chair and get to know the DNC Field Organizers.

Dammit. I am anxiously awaiting his Waukesha listening session. I need to propose marriage to him. I was going to go to his Racine session yesterday but got busy with storm preperation. :cry:

4. I was bummed...

I got to see him speak, but his Progressive Patriots table was right next to ours (DNC Neighborhood Leader Program). Apparently while I was out recruiting Neighborhood Leaders, Russ stopped by our table. All the volunteers who were in the vicinity got their badges autographed.

Oh well. I had to settle for a bumper sticker.

7. Is it typically an evening or a daytime event...

I'm working to start a Democratic Club for Brookfield/Elm Grove, and I know many people I'm in contact with would like to attend.

If it's in the evening, a couple of beers afterward would be a great idea. Maybe we can get Russ to come along!
