Ok - renting sucks hawg bawls

For about 8 years I have lived happily under all these trees. I admit there is one that needed trimming and I have been telling the landlord this for.. well.. 8 years.

The last wind and ice took down many trees around here but not the ancient gods that surrounded my house.

As I type this there is a crew cutting all the trees down around the house. ALL. Save one on the corner. I dread the summer.

I am going to miss all the squirrels even though I cuss em all the time. So much waste and destruction. I am sad.

We've got a lot of large trees in my condo community. It's partly what sold me on the place. It wouldn't be the same without them.

8. They are cutting the trees down

because the landlord got scared after the last ice storm. When these guys are done outside there will be nothing but laurels left. No trees near the house.

That way if a libm ever falls it won't be on the house.

I'm trying to rationalize it myself.
