Is it a wrenching, traumatic experience for you to change to a new purse?

It is for me. I had a new one for about a month. Yesterday I finally bit the bullet and put some of my stuff in the new one and took it with me.

It's hard... :silly:

5. Nope.
I change between then quite often, so it isn't.

I recently splurged on a gorgeous new Furla bag. My eye is still twitching from the price, but hey...I gotta indulge myself sometimes!

6. I usually end up going back to the one I've had for 10 years.
I alternate being carrying one and not carrying one. I hate them.

7. I have quite a few of them

But don't find it difficult to change. Sometimes I prefer a much smaller bag, and other times I like to have a big one when I'm on an outing, and usually bring my camera.

Since I walk with a cane right now, I prefer a backpack type setup, so I am not carrying anything in my hands. If we're going into a restaurant or something, I carry a bag inside the backpack that is more traditional.

I seem to be a bit OCD on the topic, actually--I've never been able (on some shopping trips) to just buy one bag--if it comes in different colors or something, I'll buy more than one if I can.

I never spend more than $15 for any bag, whatsoever, though.
And I like denim bags because they're strong and last quite a long time.
I try now to look for the backpack styles if they're available--a couple of years ago, Christmas Tree shops had some very nice quilted backpack style bags and I got 3 in different colors!

And, of course, I have at least 4 bags with cats on them. :)

8. It's very annoying, that's for sure.
I suppose there is some emotional attachment up in there somewhere.

:)

10. I own one purse and one briefcase and one portfolio.
And the briefcase is _by far_ my preferred instrument for carryin' stuff around. Reason: the one purse I now own is the ONLY purse I've never left in a theater, restaurant, auditorium or taxi. I have NEVER left a briefcase or portfolio behind.

So, no, this is not a wrenching, traumatic experience for me. I'd rather contract diptheria than own a bunch of purses.

11. no i'm afraid i'm the imelda of purses
i switch them every day to go with whatever and i'm a little afraid to count and see how many bags i actually have

don't hit me about the head and shoulders too much, for some reason, i'm really lucky with finding them in dumpster dives, flea markets, goodwills, etc. so i have actually paid only a tiny price for my addiction

i have a bad influence in my life, a male friend who is also an addict to bags and shoes, at least i don't have the "shoe" jones!
