Damn those Girl Scouts and their cookies too! |
|
Gawd. I just ate a whole box of the shortbread trefoils. At my desk. They are like CRACK. My secretary is a drug dealer. She already asked me if I wanted another box ...
So I've got a box of the thin mints now, sitting there staring at me. "Open the box, Dave. You know you want to. Open the box, Dave."
I'm DOOMED. DOOMED!!!

4. Look in the white pages for your local Girl Scout Council. |
|
Call them. They'll send someone out or tell you where a booth sale will be or invite you to the council office to make a purchase.
If you can, though, buy them from a troop. Cookies are the girls' biggest troop money raiser and individual girls can earn special rewards. In our council, the number of boxes sold can lead to partial or full 'camperships' for summer sessions.

I will try to find a troop nearby. I didn't even think about calling a council office.

Good thing they were the Cinna-spins, so it was only 500 calories. :D

10. As I scarf down a lemonade cookie.... |
|
My daughter is a Girl Scout, so right now, 101 boxes of GS cookies are in my living room and 6 of them are mine (peanut butter patties, thin mints, cinna spins and lemonades). I freeze them and then have them for breakfast with a hot cup of coffee. Yum. (I think I'll just start taping all the cookies to my ass, because that's where they're going to end up anyway.)
You know, Girl Scouts sell candy too. Damn them. Yes, damn them all.

Tell me about the lemonade cookies. No! Don't! Okay, do! LOL
I really miss the square lemon sandwich cookies they sold years ago that were more of a crisp pastry style cookie. Those were incredible!

they are lemon shortbread cookies (that look like lemon slices) and one side is covered in a lemony icing.
Sorry, but I believe they replace the lemon cookies you refer to.
