A few words from Mark Twain
All good writers borrow ... great ones steal outright.

1. Ahem, ok, I'm just going to assume that
y'all just accidentally overlooked this thread. So here is another chance to read it and comment. It's even topical! ... sort of.
Humorous AND topical all at the same time, plus it is a quote from a major American author.

So, go fort - just comment away. ..... no, not hat kind of comment! This isn't GDP ya know!

ABSTINENCE

Total abstinence is so excellent a thing that it cannot be carried to too great an extent. In my passion for it I even carry it so far as to totally abstain from total abstinence itself.

3. That's where we got 'Link?'
Twain is so often misquoted.

It's to late to edit my original post, so I hereby officially change the subject line.
It will henceforth read: A few words attributed, correctly or incorrectly, as the case may be, to Samuel Langhorn Clemens, a/k/a Mark Twain.
and if you want more than that you can damn well write it yourself. (Just kidding)

anyway, the point of the post is in the statement, not so much in the author ... that was to get your attention. sheeesh! :)
