Hornsby Amber Draft.

It's pretty tasty, Any reccomendations? I noticed they had about 7 or 8 different brands. I think I'll try Hardcore next.

1. Mmm, cider...
I like a nice dry cider like Strongbow (more like a Granny Smith), rather than sweeter ones like Magner's (more like a Red Delicious). What's Hornsby like?

2. I have no frame of reference to compare it with. It tastes like champagne and apples
I got it because it was $6.49 and the other brands were $7.49

3. If it has a champagne flavour, it's probably dry, and I'd probably like the tartness.
You can't go far wrong at that price, can you? Hell, or even $7.49. Here in Ontario, a six-pack would run you almost twice that.

4. I like Woodchuck Amber
I've tried Hornsby, and it was pretty good as well.

I miss the CiderJack that i used to buy in upstate NY years ago... that one was the best.

11. OK. Now I've bought a new variety. Hornsby's crisp apple.
This one tastes more like green apples. It's not quite as strong, which I think also makes it sweeter, So it's both sourer and sweeter. Not as mellow though
