Remodeling Fun! (crosspost from photography group)
I've been remodeling the 1973 mobile home I bought in November. Here are the before and after photos of the work done so far.

2. Looks great!
And I really like the way you incorporated some of the 70's original fittings - the backsplash in the kitchen looks retro and cool with the redone kitchen, whereas before it was just depressing. Nice job!

6. I love retro
If you couldn't tell by some of the furniture. The 70s wallpaper in the kitchen is cool, and the countertop is that crackle finish. Here's a better photo of it. Check out my retro radio/toaster too.

7. wow that looks soooo much better, paneling, is there any room that was safe from it?
the house i grew up had paneling in every room but the bathroom and even that i had fake tile panels or as i call it "I can't believe it's not tile!". Your house looks like it's had the sunshine let in, good job and i'm sure it has a much different vibe now.

8. There was wood paneling in every single room
INCLUDING the bathroom. The paint really made a great difference. The place is so much cheerier now!

11. Thanks, Aristus!
I haven't been posting much on DU lately at all. I was sick for six weeks, then was in the hospital, then recovered for another 2 weeks. In between all the sickness, I've been doing remodeling, and of course, the holidays back in December (when I first got sick). I'm doing much better now though! Thanks for the greeting!
