1. Answers...
1. If you could pick your own first name what would it be?

I like mine - Catherine. It's classic, not trendy, and not a lot of people actually have it.

2. If you had a chance to pick your gender, would you change it?

I think I would stay female.

3. How about your parents, would you stick with the ones you got or prefer new ones?

This is such a tough question. My parents, (well, my mom, my dad wasn't around), did such a crappy job. But she's still my mom. I don't know.

4. Would you want to change your country of birth, if you had a choice in this?

I would rather be European, for sure.

5. Ask me a question for this one

Would you change your sexual orientation or race if you could?

4. hmm
not my race. it hasnt really been a big deal for me.

about sexual orientation it would be easier of i was straight or a lesbian. being sexually fluid makes me somewhat not fit into either group. however i like the experiences i have had because of my sexual orientation. so i dont really know.

11. My Choice
1. If you could pick your own first name what would it be? - Bill Gates

I like mine - Catherine. It's classic, not trendy, and not a lot of people actually have it.

2. If you had a chance to pick your gender, would you change it? No Male is easier

I think I would stay female.

3. How about your parents, would you stick with the ones you got or prefer new ones? New ones because the old ones are dead.

This is such a tough question. My parents, (well, my mom, my dad wasn't around), did such a crappy job. But she's still my mom. I don't know.

4. Would you want to change your country of birth, if you had a choice in this? Yes - Monaco

I would rather be European, for sure.

5. Ask me a question for this one

2. Mine:
1. If you could pick your own first name what would it be? Actually...Terry. I used to hate it...but I've gotten very fond of it.

2. If you had a chance to pick your gender, would you change it? Nope. Not to disparage women, but I like being male.

3. How about your parents, would you stick with the ones you got or prefer new ones?. I had (my father died 4 years ago) the best parents in the world. No way would I prefer any other parents.

4. Would you want to change your country of birth, if you had a choice in this?. Yes. Canada. Let's face it, Canada is more hospitable for GLBT people than the United States.

5. Ask me a question for this one. How are you today? :-)

3. Tuesday answers
1. If you could pick your own first name what would it be? Same one I have (Dave)

2. If you had a chance to pick your gender, would you change it? No

3. How about your parents, would you stick with the ones you got or prefer new ones? I'd stick with what I got

4. Would you want to change your country of birth, if you had a choice in this? I don't think so. Well, OK, maybe Ireland. Irish people are so cool. I would definitely be cooler if I were from there.

5. Ask me a question for this one

If you could, would you take a "do over" in your high school/college life?

7. My answers:
1. If you could pick your own first name what would it be? I would not change it. I have an extremely unique name, and although I hated it as a child I have come to love it. I've never met anyone with the same name in my entire life!

2. If you had a chance to pick your gender, would you change it? Nope. I looove being a woman!

3. How about your parents, would you stick with the ones you got or prefer new ones? I would not be the person I am with different parents. They've given me a set of experiences which, on some soul level, I needed to have. That is my belief. It's no accident we're born into the families we're born into.

4. Would you want to change your country of birth, if you had a choice in this? Nope, see above.

5. Ask me a question for this one. When and where do you think up all these questions? I tend to get a lot of my inspiration while I'm taking a shower, so I'm curious when you think of yours....

:hi:

2. If you had a chance to pick your gender, would you change it?
I think it might be fun to change for a short time, but not permanently.

3. How about your parents, would you stick with the ones you got or prefer new ones?
My parents were pretty good, I'd stick with them.

4. Would you want to change your country of birth, if you had a choice in this?
I would love to have been born in Europe. Germany or England preferrably.

13. And here we go.....
1. If you could pick your own first name what would it be?
Something a little different, yet not fodder for childhood taunting. Cameron, for instance, would be good. My first name is VERY common, and sometimes it gets annoying when you hear people calling your name on the street!

2. If you had a chance to pick your gender, would you change it?
DEFINITELY not. I like being a guy (albeit a gay one)

3. How about your parents, would you stick with the ones you got or prefer new ones?
They have their problems, but overall I think they mean well and do right by me. I'd keep 'em.

4. Would you want to change your country of birth, if you had a choice in this?
At this very moment, yeah. Canada might be a better place for me to be a citizen right about now.

5. Ask me a question for this one
If you could go back and change your career path, would you do anything different?

17. Mine.
1. If you could pick your own first name what would it be?

Wouldn't change my first name as nothing else seems to fit with my last name.

2. If you had a chance to pick your gender, would you change it?

Like being a guy, but I do envy women for their ability to give birth. That would be the only reason I'd switch.

3. How about your parents, would you stick with the ones you got or prefer new ones?

Mine were alcoholics so I would not prefer them. But the new ones could be just as bad.

4. Would you want to change your country of birth, if you had a choice in this?

United Kingdom, preferably Scotland.

5. Ask me a question for this one.

Do you use these questions as part of your schoolwork or just out of your personal curiosity?

30. Hmmm...
1. If you could pick your own first name what would it be?
As much as I may complain about mine, I've gotten used to it.

2. If you had a chance to pick your gender, would you change it?
If I could change back and forth at a whim, I would totally do that. I don't know if I'd be willing to change without knowing how much I'd like it though.

Then again, I'm not exactly an average guy when it comes to things like masculinity and whatnot. :P

3. How about your parents, would you stick with the ones you got or prefer new ones?
I never realized how cool mine were until I got to college and started comparing notes with other people my age. Holy crap... parents who search their kid's rooms? Parents who try to keep controlling their kid's lives even after they go off to college? WTF? I got lucky with mine. They have no problem telling me what they think I should do... and after so many times of them being right, I've learned to listen to their opinions. They didn't try to keep controlling me, they just gave me advice. And I can't say the same for most parents that I've encountered.

4. Would you want to change your country of birth, if you had a choice in this?
Hmm... I wouldn't mind being born in europe somewhere.

5. Ask me a question for this one

2. If you had a chance to pick your gender, would you change it?

My mother is a pretty negative, judgmental, cold person, so I wouldn't have minded someone a bit nicer perhaps.

I would have rather been born in the Netherlands, France, UK, New Zealand, or least Canada.

49. here goes...
1. If you could pick your own first name what would it be?
I'll stick with mine. It is very much a plain Jane name (no, not Jane!), but I don't know many people that have my name. Plus, I was named after a far removed family member.

2. If you had a chance to pick your gender, would you change it?
No

3. How about your parents, would you stick with the ones you got or prefer new ones?
They weren't perfect when I was growing up, but I love them for who they were/are. Now, when I was a teenager, I would have probably wanted new ones (and I would have been very wrong!). I now consider myself pretty damn lucky!

4. Would you want to change your country of birth, if you had a choice in this?
Not really. It would be kind of nice, though, to have dual citizenship with a more progressive country.

5. Ask me a question for this one
What is your favorite vegetarian Indian dish?

Maybe something like Ann Marie...

In other lifetimes, I’d check it out...

In anytime on this earth, I would pick my mother-in-law and father-in-law to be my parents, my family..

I’ve only been to Mexico and Canada and I would find no problem being born in either or...

Is help, really, just around the corner?....

1. I like the one I have — in its short form, anyway.

2. Not permanently, but I've often thought I might like to be a woman for a day or so, just to see what y'all gotta put up with.

3. Mine are no longer of this earth, so it's moot. But, even with all their flaws, I'm a bit intimidated by the thought of having had different parents, as that would've meant a different me.

4. I think I'd rather change the country of whose birth I am, so that I can be proud of it.

5. Has anyone hated you because you're beautiful?

66. answers and a question
1. If you could pick your own first name what would it be?
I don't know. Everyone forgets my name, and I've considered changing it, but... don't know to what.

2. If you had a chance to pick your gender, would you change it?
I don't know. I think it would be fun to be able to become the opposite gender for a day or week or whatever, but I don't know if I would change or not.

3. How about your parents, would you stick with the ones you got or prefer new ones?
I'd probably stick to them, good and bad

4. Would you want to change your country of birth, if you had a choice in this?
I would like to be French I think. Hard to say though. Ugh, I am feeling very indecisive today.

5. Ask me a question for this one
can I have a hug? Sorry. One of those weeks....

1. If you could pick your own first name what would it be?

I don't have an answer for this. And that is not an answer in itself ;)

2. If you had a chance to pick your gender, would you change it?

I've wondered what it is like to be a woman, but not because I dislike being a man. I simply wish to know so that I may understand better. Okay, you got me, I want to have hot lesbian sex. Who doesn't?

3. How about your parents, would you stick with the ones you got or prefer new ones?

I would change my ability to have understood them and to have been able to deal with their baggage and decisions. I wouldn't repeat what I went through, however.

4. Would you want to change your country of birth, if you had a choice in this?

Probably some area with greater attention given toward spirituality.

5. Ask me a question for this one.

What is the question you wish that someone would ask you? And what is its answer?

1. If you could pick your own first name what would it be?

I'd keep mine. It's grown on me over time, or perhaps I've grown into it.

2. If you had a chance to pick your gender, would you change it?

Nope. I'd hate to be a man, for many many reasons. I would not change.

3. How about your parents, would you stick with the ones you got or prefer new ones?

Well, I believe that each person chose the circumstances of their birth so I am perfectly happy with mine. They are flawed and imperfect as are we all but they love me unconditionally and always have.

4. Would you want to change your country of birth, if you had a choice in this?

I probably wouldn't change anything. Sure, I might LIKE to have been born somewhere else but, as I said, I believe that the circumstances of my life were chosen BY me.

5. Ask me a question for this one

Lights - on or off? Or a happy mix of both?

76. Answers for you
1. If you could pick your own first name what would it be?

I like my name. I still answer to most anything.

2. If you had a chance to pick your gender, would you change it?

Naw, well if I could change back in like 10 hours. I'd like to experiment with the goods in hopes to be able to satisfy my lover better afterwards.

3. How about your parents, would you stick with the ones you got or prefer new ones?

That's a toughy. I wouldn't be who I am now without the sucky parents I had, so I'll say no.

4. Would you want to change your country of birth, if you had a choice in this?

I like being American, so no.

5. Ask me a question for this one

How often do you floss?

77. Damn! You're making me think...
1. As a young child, I hated my name "Joshua," probably because no one else I knew had it. I was already feeling like I "didn't fit in" with the rest of the world, and the name didn't help. I actually toyed with the idea of changing it legally (I must have been 5 or 6!). Now? Well, for many, many years now I have loved my name, am grateful for having been given it, and wouldn't change it for the world.

2. I'm good. Straight male. I love women-- they make the world worth living in. Practically speaking, I wouldn't want to be female because then I'd have to deal with men as a woman. I've seen too much (indeed I've DONE too much) to think that that is easy or fun.

3. My late parents made many mistakes. But they raised me with love and did the best they could, and I was fully aware of this all along the way. I could regret that they did "this," or didn't do "that," but overall, they were wonderful parents. The past is SO over. I cannot live there. My future is mine to make. I alone am responsible for it.

4. I think I'm fortunate to be an American. Born here, and my family's been here for centuries. The original ideals and goals of the United States are second to none. Yet, as a student of history, I know that this country can and has made horrible mistakes and done many bad things. IS doing them, right now. But I am free to both say that, and work to change it.

5. What makes you smile?

78. Good questions as usual Pri
1. If you could pick your own first name what would it be?
I don't know. I have issues with my first name but I still like it because I share it with my great uncle (a brother whom my grandfather was very close to) who was killed in World War I. If I had to change my name, it would probably be to an Indian name like Rajiv or Sanjay
2. If you had a chance to pick your gender, would you change it?
Probably not, I guess
3. How about your parents, would you stick with the ones you got or prefer new ones?
Stick with the ones I have. They had their flaws but they were great parents in many, many ways and I dearly love them both
4. Would you want to change your country of birth, if you had a choice in this?
I would like to be an American citizen because I like the country and its politics so much. But no, I guess not. I'm proud of my background and heritage
5. Ask me a question for this one
Do you go back to India regularly?

80. Tuesday Answers (and one question)
1. If you could pick your own first name what would it be? I'd probably stick with my current first name...it's classic, I think, and not too common. :)

2. If you had a chance to pick your gender, would you change it? Yeah, once a month. x( Cramps suuuuuuuuuuuuuck. (sorry, that's probably TMI...)

3. How about your parents, would you stick with the ones you got or prefer new ones? My parents are awesome and I love them. Sure, they're human and they have their flaws, but I wouldn't trade the ones I've got for anything in the world. :)

4. Would you want to change your country of birth, if you had a choice in this? I don't think so. I'm pretty cool with being American-born, although some of the things that have happened over the past 8 years here have made me really sad.

5. Ask me a question for this one When you were a kid, what job did you want to have when you grew up? :hi:
