I think Lunesta might be a sham.
Took 3 MG of it an hour ago, and am not ready to go out and drive to the next county, while not knowing that I was doing so, like Ambien would make me do in the good old days.

(Yes, I'm joking.)

1. I take Ambien CR and got a big surprise one morning.
Got a message from e-bay saying I'd won the $68 green glass turtle. The only positive is that I'll have something to give the next time I need a white elephant.

4. You had one of those Ambien Moments, eh? I had one, and that was what
convinced me that I should try a different sleeping pill.

But this one doesn't seem to work.

Maybe I'll go back to Vodka.

6. If you're still awake you're either having a Lunesta moment or it's not working.
Time to take my Ambien and watch Judge Judy on dvr. Nightly routine.

11. That's not a butterfly. It's a luna moth, or their version of one.

7. No sleeping aid ever works for me after dose three or four.
I use hypnosis and it does the trick at least as well as the drugs.

8. How do you use hypnosis?
I've had 3 different sleep meds and still don't sleep well.

10. I'm a skeptic, but after hypnosis *cured* my IBS I started looking at it
seriously. Right now I use a program called Neuro-Programmer Two, by Transparent Company. I started with it two years ago and noticed immediate benefits. It's comes as a CD and the program has a number of different sessions which you can personalize using either pre-taped scripts, or you can tape your own "hypnotic message" depending on what you believe is useful. Again, I was a HUGE skeptic but I've found the program to be invaluable. I've done live hypnosis and been told I'm not a good subject. Two times, though, recorded hypnotic sessions have changed my life and I am now a huge proponent. IMHO. -L

9. I was wondering why I would care if Lunesta or Ambien were addictive because I have
been an insomniac since I was a kid, I would do anything to get a good nights sleep. I guess the only redeeming benefit now is I can read GD/P and be entertained all night long.

12. here's a suggestion
turkey sandwich

3 glasses of milk

2 tylenol p.m. (preference: vanilla caplets)

between the trypophan

and the mild hit of diphenhydramine or benadryl

you'll get to sleep.
