We are hoping for a clear enough night to see it. We watched the space shuttle and the space station wiz by last night moving from the south to the southwest. Very awesome display. We live in South Mississippi and get to see the shuttle fairly often.

I've seen a few satellites, but I don't think I've ever seen either the shuttle or the space station. How awesome: I hope the show is good for you tonight!

I know!
As much as I love our much needed rain, I wish the clouds would part for an hour or so during the eclipse.
Ah well, maybe next time.
;( :hi:

I didn't mean to abandon this thread all day, but work took me away from the net shortly after my morning post. Now I've just returned, and I've still got to figure out how to do three more hours of work in the 1.5 hours until I want to get to a friend's place with a good night-sky view.
But glad y'all kept the thread alive! All you neighbors of pokerfan enjoy it too!

I'm not usually too new-agey, but you can bet that I'll be visualizing clearer skies and cloud-busting with the most ardent believers tonight.

Hope you get at least a glimpse or two too BrklynLiberal!
