I'm the #1 Dad
I got 15 month old BabyCoffee to fall asleep last night by listening to The Doors "Roadhouse Blues"

"I woke up this morning and I got myself a beer!"

That's good parenting.

1. My best friend's daughter is a Doors fan since she could walk
The girl is only 11 years old and goes to all the Doors tribute concerts and has actually seen the Doors (those still alive) in concert. She has a picture of her with Ray Manzarek.

Mind you, the girl's aunt is a major Doorhead - hence the obsession with the Doors.

2. My daughter loved the Doors when she was little
However, she grew up to love country, so I'm not all that great of a dad :(

3. I do want to add, though...
that I taught both of my kids addition when they were toddlers by playing blackjack with them. I was always waiting for the call from the teacher wanting to know why my kids would say "damn!" every time they added something more than 21.

4. My daughter was partial to Black Sabbath
"Fairies wear boots .. ya got to believe it."

She asked many years later where she'd heard that song before :D

8. When my son was 3, he LOVED....
AC/DC! I first noticed it when I was playing Tony Hawk Pro Skater, and "TNT" was the background music. So out comes the iPod, and by the end of the day he was singing... "I'm on the Highway to...."

Mom wasn't so amused. :eyes:
