An announcement... no big deal except to me.

The novel I so far consider my best has just hit print.

"Tales from the Magitech Lounge" is a story about alienation, trust, friendship, loyalty, redemption, and love. Told from the viewpoint of several of its main characters, each narrating a chapter and a portion of the story, it introduces the readers to not only the Confederacy of Human Worlds, but also to the Infinity Project as a whole.

The next book in my Infinity: Prime series, "Death of Heroes," has just come out in e-book format as well.

If the doctor can't track down what's going on with my back and the left side of my body soon, I may be forced to rely even more on my writing, since my body is now seemingly in open revolt against me. Something's off with regards to the nerves in my back, shoulder, and arm and it's making life increasingly difficult to bear. Right now I'm living on painkillers and I don't like it at all.

On the other hand, the week off I've been forced to take in an attempt to rest has provided me time to work on my latest project, a young adult fantasy in my Infinity metaverse. So I guess there's a bright side to everything.

And my back has me freaked out. It seems to be affecting the nerves on the left side of my body and the doc really doesn't know why. I had an MRI yesterday and it'll take a few days for that to get back to the doctor. Then I have to try to make another appointment BEFORE the opening in the middle of March I had to schedule into.

10. Battleground is definitely a rather unique story...

It was one of those sudden epiphanies I got while at work one day. I wrote it over the course of about six hours on the computer linked to the machine I was operating. The boss at the time was a fan, so... as long as I could do that and do my job at the same time, it was all good.
