Early 1980's computer games you liked
Remember the game "President Elect" for the Apple computer?

I LOVED that game. No graphics, but it was a blast. I'd love to play that game again, or any presidential election scenario game.

What are/were some of tyour favorites?

6. Bilestoad
I was big into D-and-D at the time, playing 20 hours at a stretch, so I took the occasional "rest break" from that by playing this game on the Apple II and Adventure on the Atari 2600.

Those were good times.

nothing else in the era compares.

Did play a lot of Miner 2049'er, Oregon Trail, Seven Cities Of Gold and Zaxxon on my old Atari 800. Can remember coming home from work, booting the cassette, making dinner and eating and by then the game would be loaded and ready to play. :P

When I bought my Atari ST I played F-15 Strike Eagle, Kill A Happy Face (MIDI Maze), Little Computer People, and (my favorite from the time) Lemmings.

Which was an AWESOME Battle of Britain game. You controlled the game at the strategic level, as either the commander of the RAF or the German Luftwaffe.

THAT game was a lot of fun.

Basically, you had control over a trampoline and had to move it bounce back little guys who were jumping off a building. On the way down, they had smiles, but when you bounced them back, they would frown.

It wasn't made in the early 1980s (made in '86) and it was kind of corny, but I enjoyed it nonetheless.

I soooooo suck at Pac Man to this day, but I still absolutely love it. I've got jrok's PacPC and it's the closest you'll ever find online to emulating the real Pac Man. I think my high score is currently only around 24,000, but I still love it, even though I suck so bad at it. I have Mrs. PacPC too. It's just like Mrs. Pac Man too. They were both free too. :woohoo:

I see a lot of people are answering with arcade games of the period.

The ones I remember playing the most on our TRS-90 model III were "Taipan," "Star Trek," and that Scott Adams text adventure game that I think was titled "Vampire" or "Transylvania" or something like that.
