In a simple man like me
Who longs like all men
For nothing more
Than a kindred spirit
A graceful gentle touch
The quiet comfort
That only one can give
What does she see in me?

How does she melt me
And bring tears to my eyes
This simple man, with this silent strong beauty
This blessed man
She lightens my load, and she stokes my flames
By what she sees in me
