Too lofty for that silliness; no need to have a cartoon-ish character dancing around on the sidelines. :7

In the early 1990s some kids created 'Willy the Wolverine' and tried to make him the mascot. The University refused to allow him in the stadium a) because he didn't have a ticket, b) he obstructed some spectators' views, and c) he looked like a kangaroo. :rofl:

This is his second (and last) year in this capacity. Sweet guy, too, but busy as hell. He was in Oktoberain's Comm class last semester, and i think he mentioned having to do something like 200 appearances on behalf of the school each year. Naturaly that includes atheletic events (and getting to fire the musket at the football games!), but there's always charity events, visits to the children's hospital, and tons of other things that the University sends him to do.

Brady graduates this May, and the University is in the process of selecting his successor.
I think i'd dang near cut off my pinky finger to do that!
