I found a picture of my late cat

when she was a year old or two. She died 3 years ago. I still miss her :cry:




And here she is just a couple of month old, right after we got her.



Her name was Octavia and she was a devil. But she was MY devil :loveya:

23. She was born in 1989

and died in 2005. The last 10 years of her life (so to spek most of her life) she lived with my mom. But for some reason it was always my cat. I just didn't live in places I could have a cat. Or didn't had the time. But I visted her often and then she always slept on me :D

There's nothin' sweeter than a little, fluffy, naughty kitten. Here's a photo of my little sister and me with our first kittens. We found these stray kitties living under the trailer we lived in one horribly hot summer in Kentucky. We fell instantly in love. :loveya:

My mom was so freaked out that we were handling stray kittens that she immediately forced us to take a bath while my dad took the kittens to the vet. :rofl: My mom has always been kinda freakishly over-concerned about us kids getting worms, head lice, scabies, ring worm, etc. -- probably because she was a first-grade teacher for so many years and encountered so many little kids with those ailments. :shrug:

I do have pictures, but just got a scanner and haven't figured out how to use it just yet.

But my baby was 15 or 16 (can't quite remember) when I had to put him down. I was the only family member that he would sleep with. He was a long hair ginger cat and he used to eat the most remarkable things, like asparagus. He would shake our hand when prompted and we had it timed perfectly for him to run figure 8's through my legs while I walked.

I walked around like a zombie for a week after his death and I still miss him to this day. I feel your pain MissHoneychurch.:hug:
