the singer from Modena City kinda sounds like Harry Chapin.. Never been too into th Alarm, but that somg was WAY better than what I used to see on MTV from them back in the day.. Those old Irish bands all had killer attitude.. good stuff .

The Alarm had a knack of releasing weak tracks as singles. "Rain in the Summertime" was probably their biggest single, but it ranks among their weakest songs.

Look for the first three albums (the self-titled EP, Declaration, and Strength). There are some remarkable deep cuts, like "Where Were You Hiding When the Storm Broke" and "The Deceiver".
