I was at a "Snow White Tea Party" with the Brownie troop today. It was really cool, we had tea or lemonade, cookies, visits from the characters and were treated to a performance of Snow White and the Seven Dwarves. A good time was had by all the girls in the troop.
After the performance, I was waiting to get out of the theatre and I ended up in line behind a woman wearing a t-shirt that had a pattern of alternating hearts and AK-47s.
:wtf:
I wonder how she could have even entertained the thought that it was remotely appropriate to wear that shirt to an event for children...

3. Good thing you didn't say anything to her; I'll bet she had a gun in her handbag. |

I don't quite get it. And I'm a "gun nut", apparently.
Why advertise? Not that I'm against teaching gun safety to kids or anything, but I don't get this "fetish" stuff.

6. there is certainly a line between actively advocating second amendment rights |
|
and worshipping guns and gun culture absolutely. I think she crossed it.

11. Yeah, it's a little wierd... |
|
I never got all the people that slap "This vehicle protected by Smith & Wesson" on their cars.
Again, why advertise?
I have this vision of the owner of such a vehicle coming out of his house one morning and finding his car and his gun stolen, but the bumper sticker peeled off and left in the spot where the car was. Being held down by a rock or something...

18. I got a Dell one with the "Esc" key missing |
|
Otherwise fully functional. And I might be able to find the "Esc" key if it's where I think it is... :-)

The woman is surely "pro-birth" too.

8. Honestly the only thing that kept me from saying a word was the thought |
|
that perhaps she had a Glock in her handbag. Seriously.

9. Creepy...but for some reason that reminds me of a joke: |
|
Q: Why did Disneyland fire Snow White?
A: Because they found her sitting on Pinnochio's nose yelling, "Lie, lie, LIE!!!"

That beats what I spotted yesterday: a brand-new Hummer painted all over with advertisements for an "Adult Gift Shop". I thought that was the acme of Tacky at the time, but your lady wins the prize.
